INTENT
The purpose of this call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) is to offer a full-time, term contract opportunity for a dedicated resource to support the work of the Marine Shipping Subcommittee (MSSC). The Subcommittee is a division of the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee for the Trans Mountain Expansion Project (IAMC-TMX). The successful candidate will be offered an initial contract from acceptance to March 31, 2025. The contract may be extended depending on future decisions of the IAMC and the performance of the contractor. The position will be based mainly on Vancouver Island and is currently a remote (with occasional on-site and in community) position.

- Discloses any current or past work experience (direct or indirect) with local marine based First Nations (on the Island and lower Fraser, Burrard Inlet area), federal regulators, or the Trans Mountain Expansion Project.
Acknowledgment of receipt of applications will not be sent. Only those who are shortlisted will be contacted. An interview will be administered, and references will be requested and checked. Preference will be given to a First Nation individual from within the marine regions of the IAMC.
