Norine has had an array of experiences within Indigenous communities, such as: Consultation Lead for Samson Cree Nation for over 15 years; and as a consultant and an associate partner of SevGen Consulting, working with various communities including Louis Bull Tribe and Beaver Lake Cree Nation. Norine is currently the Executive Director at the Maskwacis Cree Tribal Council. She has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta, and a Master of Arts degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. A practitioner of Traditional Land Use Studies and Geographic Information Systems, Norine has a passion for Indigenous knowledge and connections between Elders, youth and the environment.
