Chief Harvey McLeod

Chief McLeod was elected as Chief of the Upper Nicola Indian Band in 2014. He was re-elected by one vote in March 2017. He currently serves on the Board of Commissioners for BC Housing, a provincial Crown corporation. Chief McLeod holds a Certificate in Leadership, Governance & Management Excellence from the Banff Centre and a Livestock Production Technology Diploma from Fairview College. He has consistently been active in his community, having served on a number of community committees and boards, as well as having served ten terms as a Band Councillor.
Previous Key Position
- Chief McLeod served for nearly 17 years as Executive Director of the Interior Salish Employment and Training Strategy.
