Toke Adams grew up in the United Kingdom before moving to the Canada and the West Coast. Prior to joining Transport Canada in 1999, Toke managed a small regional airport, Bella Bella, owned and operated by the Heiltsuk Tribal Council. Toke spent many years of his career in Civil Aviation holding various positions as an inspector, manager, and Associate Director. He spent several years as Regional Director of the Aviation Security, Intermodal Surface Security Oversight and Emergency Preparedness programs in Transport Canada’s Pacific region. In his current position as the Regional Director, Programs for Pacific Region, Toke provides oversight to regional airport and port operations; real property management and divestiture; delivery of the navigation protection program; environmental services; and Aboriginal consultation.
